She is 3 1/2 weeks out from surgery to remove her front right leg, which had a highly aggressive squamous tumor on the foot. The foot could not be saved, so it was lose the leg or, pick a date for Harriet’s exit. We chose the surgery, and we are hopeful we made the right decision!
